More color, more comfort and more automation

Early builds of SeaTable 2.8 have been available for download from Docker Hub for a few days now . The final build has been available for download since April 1st. We are pleased to be able to make SeaTable 2.8's numerous new features and improvements available in SeaTable Cloud with today's update. New features include a color-customizable title bar and the display of all active users in a base, column descriptions, and an improved editor for formatted text. In addition, shared data records can now be automatically synchronized and renamed. And these are just the highlights that we will present in more detail in these release notes. Colored title band
The color and shape of the base icons on the usa rcs data homepage have been customizable since version 1.2 . However, the icon color had no effect on the color of the title bar in the base. The title bar remained orange.
In the new version, we have eliminated this functional gap. The color of the title bar now corresponds to the color of the base icon. Do you like the bright blue in the screenshot? Well, go for it!

Transparent Collaboration
Every change you make in a SeaTable base is immediately transmitted to all active users in the base. As soon as you confirm an entry, your co-editors see the change on the screen. We call this real-time collaboration.
But who are the other users who are active in the base? SeaTable 2.8 provides a clear answer. Clicking on the user icon in the top right of the table editor opens the list of current users. When a user is added to a table or a colleague finishes working, the list is updated immediately. Real-time collaboration.
