SeaTable makes team collaboration interactive. A base can be shared with just a few clicks and entries in a shared base are immediately displayed to other users. This is different with Office files in a SeaTable base. In order to edit the Word document, Excel table or PowerPoint presentation, it must first be downloaded. Editing then takes place offline. Other users only have access to the changed document version after manual upload. This was a thorn in our side.
SeaTable 3.0 extends the real-time collaboration thailand rcs data known from the table editor to Office documents. Documents can be edited directly in the browser and by several people at the same time. Changes made by co-authors are displayed in real time, so you know exactly who is working on the document and where. Manual uploading is also no longer necessary. When the last user leaves the document, the current document status is automatically returned to SeaTable and saved in the file column as a new document version.
Editing an Office document from SeaTable couldn't be easier: Clicking on the Word, Excel or PowerPoint file opens the document in an editor in a new tab. Users who are currently editing the document are displayed in the top right corner. Changes made by these users are implemented directly in the displayed document and highlighted by a flag. The changes are saved automatically.
