We explain - Marketing and remarketing - types, application

Post by mostakimvip06 »

What is marketing itself, we hope that you already know exactly from our many previous posts on this topic. If not - we invite you to review our marketing posts! Remarketing, however, as the name (Re-) suggests, is a repetition, a repeated marketing action.

If our marketing worked the first time or didn't work, why re-introduce it to the same users? After all, if it worked the first time, we gained a customer, and if it didn't work, it means that the recipient wasn't interested in our offer.

Well, this is a wrong way of thinking, unfortunately the marketing issue is not as binary as we would like it to be. The fact that the recipient of our ad clicked on it does not mean that they have achieved any of our significant goals, such as signing up for a newsletter, buying our product or using our services. Remarketing is directed to people who have taken any action in the direction of our activity, e.g. visited our website, but for some reason left it prematurely. Remarketing materials have a completely different nature, they use different communication than marketing materials, because they have a different goal. By using a remarketing campaign, we already know that our previous ad interested the recipient and we have something they were looking for, so it only communicates in a way that encourages them to return to our website, check our special offer, etc. Research shows that it is much easier for users to return to the website than to enter it .

What are the benefits of remarketing?

certainty that you are displaying your ad to users who are interested in your product or service ;
you know exactly what the customer is interested in and that is exactly what you advertise to them ;
cross-selling - you offer complementary services or products, sets or add-ons to a previous purchase;
branding - brand awareness increases because the user has the impression that your ads are everywhere;
such Ads campaigns , according to research, are characterized by the highest return on investment (ROI).
Types of Marketing
Let's remember that the following types of marketing are not mutually exclusive, for example, a post advertising our products on Facebook will be a form of Social Media Marketing, Online Marketing and Digital Marketing.

Digital Marketing

1. Digital Marketing
This is marketing presented to recipients in a way that uses all digital and electronic devices. This is a very broad branch of marketing, considering that all online campaigns require electronic devices, and apart from them, there morocco telemarketing data are also those displayed on city or store screens.

Forms of digital marketing include, among others, the following types:

Online Marketing
Social Media Marketing
Mobile Marketing
Digital Out-Of-Home marketing
We wrote a lot about digital marketing in our previous post — Digital marketing — on the web and beyond .

Internet Marketing

2. Internet Marketing (Online Marketing)
As the name suggests, internet marketing is any campaigns conducted online, such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads campaigns. What distinguishes online marketing from standard marketing is the fact that in this situation, there is a greater emphasis on the relationship between the brand and the consumer, because through online advertising, the recipient of the advertisement has an almost immediate opportunity for direct contact with the company. In addition, it is often cheaper to implement, faster to launch and more accurate in targeting.

We wrote more about internet marketing, especially in the context of small businesses, here — Internet Marketing for Small Businesses. What to Look for?

Outbound Marketing

3. Outbound Marketing
This is marketing in which the brand as a party advertising its services or products takes the initiative towards the customer and tries to directly convince the recipient to use its offer. One of the most popular forms of outbound marketing are, for example, email campaigns.

Inbound Marketing

4. Inbound Marketing
In contrast to Outbound marketing, inbound marketing involves encouraging recipients to make the first contact, through indirectly published advertising materials, such as on the Facebook wall, in Google Ads or billboards. This is the most commonly used type of marketing today when it comes to the priority of brand-recipient interaction.

Social Media Marketing

5. Social Media Marketing
As the name suggests, it is the promotion of your services and products on very popular social media today, such as Facebook or Instagram. This includes both free posts and paid advertising campaigns.

Content Marketing

6. Content Marketing
This type of marketing involves stimulating recipients to contact you by publishing a large amount of content on publicly available channels. One of the most popular and effective forms of Content Marketing is actively publishing posts on social media or regularly running a blog. The main goal is to produce a large amount of diversified and valuable content, thanks to which their recipients will state that they want to take advantage of our offer.
