English has many variants , specific ways of using the language that occur in certain areas. They are characterized by differences in vocabulary , grammar , intonation and pronunciation , and can be so diverse that two speakers of the language may not understand each other.

In Spain, the variety that is usually taught is British, but it is a good idea to get spain phone number list to other varieties. Various dialectal standards have been established, although these do not encompass all the accents and dialects that exist. The two best known are:
