Stage 3. Writing articles and comments

Post by maksudasm »

It is important for new authors and brands to gain a reputation as an expert. To do this, try to properly introduce yourself: tell stories of achievements and failures, analyze complex cases, write recommendations and advice, share information about the emergence of new products. If you prove yourself as an expert in any field, editors and journalists themselves will ask for materials. To do this, you do not necessarily have to constantly write serious, large-volume texts. Sometimes small but useful articles with specific advice get many more views.

Experts also advise to dilute the text with real examples, stories from life, figures. You can also publish your own photos in the media if they are organically woven into the material. This will be your difference from competitors.

We recommend that you pay attention to the following types of publications that are welcome in the information space:

Comments on current facebook database events. The ability to reasonably interpret news related to your field of activity, analyze and predict various events will help demonstrate your expertise. Having proven yourself in this way, you will be able to receive invitations from journalists in the future.

Recommendations, selections, checklists, tips . The listed practical materials are aimed at solving specific problems of readers. Having compiled a list of current problems and user requests, prepare a guide in which the required tasks will be solved.

To place your publications in the media, you need to be able to cooperate with editors and journalists. After all, it depends on them whether the article will be published. Therefore, in addition to a media map and competent text, you need to be able to present your project briefly and in a structured manner.

Preparation of the article and comments

To learn how to communicate correctly with representatives of the media, we recommend that you listen to the following advice:

Respond quickly to requests . In most cases, editors select the necessary materials from the first comments, since they do not have much time to look through all the authors. After sending a response, do not turn off notifications, the editor may need to contact you and ask clarifying questions.

Send unique works . The target audience is set to benefit from what they read, so they listen to the author's personal experience and his recommendations, which have proven their effectiveness in practice. Editors value good text, supported by real cases, stories, interesting facts and statistics.

Prove that you are an expert. Try to take on topics in which you really feel confident. Express your own thoughts, do not rewrite someone else's text. If you do not yet have enough knowledge in a certain niche, try to concentrate on another job.

Adapt the material to different media. If you want to send your publications to several media outlets, be sure to edit them. Each publication has its own style, requirements for the author and the design of the work. Before sending an article, carefully study the site and its potential readers. When sending a letter, it is recommended to write the name of the publication or the name of the editor.

If after you have submitted your article, the editor asks you to correct it, do not be upset - this is a completely normal phenomenon. After the shortcomings are corrected, the work will be accepted for publication.
