Yahoo plans to lay off 100 more employees

Yahoo is planning to lay off another 100 employees, according to industry rumours, the Wall Street Journal reports , citing company sources. The plans are expected to be made public next Tuesday when Yahoo announces its first quarter 2009 results to the media.
Yahoo has already made numerous layoffs in 2008 , the latest in bc data china December, when it laid off 1,400 people. The company is currently not ruling out further staff cuts if the economic situation worsens.
Carol Bartz, who has been CEO since Jerry Yang left, is constantly looking for cost-saving formulas: she introduced a management restructuring in February in order to cut costs.
