She has worked in Boulder, Colorado, for 20 years but has spent half her career in Silicon Valley. During this time, she worked for several large Silicon Valley companies, including Brocade (now part of denmark email list Broadcom), Pure Storage, and Juniper Networks (now part of HP). She also worked at Smartsheet in the Seattle area.

Her last corporate position, which she considers to be her final role, was with a Colorado-based company specializing in CRM, ERP and SaaS solutions for the alcoholic beverage supply chain. She loves the job and plans to stay here for five years. However, the company was acquired and she left after just a year and a half on the job.

Many people tend to focus on the visible aspects of marketing – advertising, social media, websites, events, campaigns and emails. However, they often overlook our strategic work in go-to-market strategy, ensuring product-market fit, developing segmentation and positioning strategies, developing a deep understanding of the market, and building category leadership. This high-level strategic work is critical to developing effective marketing campaigns.
