Creating a Facebook app may seem like a technical gansu phone number undertaking, but don't worry. You don't need to know any code, we will guide you through all the steps.
To create this application, you need to go to the Meta for Developers website from your WordPress dashboard. Therefore, it’s best to keep your WordPress dashboard open in the current tab and access Meta for Developers in a new tab.
On the Developer Meta tab, click the Create App button.

The first thing to do is to select the business wallet you want to connect to the new application. The default setting is "I don't want to link a corporate wallet yet." You can leave it like this and click Next.

In the Use Case phase, you choose what the application should do.
Since we want to add social login to WordPress, let’s go ahead and select the “Authenticate user with Facebook login and request data” option.
After that, you have to click on the “Next” button.

Then, in the "Display name" field, enter the name you want to use for your Facebook app. This name will be displayed to your visitors, so it’s best to use a name they will recognize, such as the title of your WordPress site.
After you name your application, you can enter your email address in the "Application Contact Email" field. Facebook will use this address to alert you about possible violations of app policies and restrictions, or to share information about how to recover a deleted account.
To do this, you must enter the email address that you regularly select. Click Next to continue.
The configuration process will now open.
