The number of students studying is almost as diverse as the number of students who study it. With approximately 100,000 students graduating with an MBA degree each year from one of approximately 1,000 U.S. or 550 European schools, it is truly a symbol of diversity. Traditionally, earning an MBA meant that you joined an elite group of highly-selected students who had successfully completed a rigorous academic program that emphasized quantitative and analytical skills. ,

But paradoxically, the vast expansion in MBA provision has, in many ways, made the qualification more attractive to employers. they view competencies linked to relevant experience and proven organizational accomplishments as flexibility, the ability to welcome change rather than resist it, creativity, self-motivation, personal effectiveness, and a variety of other qualities that are needed in the changing organizational environment where they are currently recruiting.
