Google+ and AdWords
Last but not least; Google+. It is a social network that looks technically and visually very slick. However, the number of active users is still pending. However, the network is very suitable to secure your position in the search engine, since Google attaches more and more value to social activity within the search algorithms.
In your Gmail, Google Calendar, in the search engine and also in the AdWords ads. This is how you see list to data the number of +1's of your Google+ page appear in your AdWords ad:

It seems that Google does not currently differentiate between +1's when it comes to showing certain ads over other ads with fewer +1's. But Google's vision is increasingly moving towards prioritizing social activities. So I wouldn't be surprised if this were to happen in the future. In any case, it looks much better in AdWords advertising if you have 5000 +1's than just a few dozen.

And that last one is another important reason to have a lot of +1's. Not only for quantity, but also with regard to relevance. Numbers can convince, but if a friend has given the page a +1, that is an even stronger trigger to click through. Currently, the AdWords ads do not yet show any activity from your Google or Google+ contacts.
