Did you know that you have 2 inboxes for messages on Facebook? One with all the regular messages from friends and then a 'hidden' inbox? In this video I show you how to check messages from your second Facebook inbox (and what's in it)!

Second Facebook inbox
A second Facebook inbox? How does that work? If someone who is not your friend sends you a message on Facebook, list to data that message will end up in your hidden inbox. Those messages are not immediately visible and it is not surprising if you do not know about your second Facebook inbox. But there can be important messages in it. Are you also very curious about all the messages in your other mailbox? Here's how to check it!

1. Go to your inbox: on the left side of your Facebook account you will see 'messages'. Click on it and you will be taken to your regular, regular inbox. These are messages from all the people who are your friends.

2. Click on other: At the top left of your screen, in light gray letters, is 'other' - something that is easy to overlook! And that is your second inbox, where messages from people who are not your friends end up.

Place 'Other' messages in regular inbox
Facebook assumes that you are not interested in messages from strangers, but that is of course not the case. I regularly receive messages from people who follow me, but with whom I am not friends. For example, someone who wants me to present a video, or someone who has a question about social media. All these messages end up in your 'other' inbox. As soon as you send a message back to someone in your 'other' inbox, the conversation automatically ends up in your regular inbox.
