How should a designer work if the task is not specific?

Post by bhasan01854 »

It is debatable whether it is easier to work when the client sets strict requirements for design solutions or when he/she completely relies on the designer's decisions and taste. In both situations, everything can go well or not so well. And the designer must be able to cope with both of these tasks.

At the beginning of the year, our editor at the Digital Agency Atvinta contacted me : she constantly needs to make illustrations for content, previews for the blog and social networks, and designers are usually busy with client projects and do not always have time to help. She asked to develop a set of illustrations so that the marketing department could quickly collect the necessary images without designers.

The idea seemed interesting, especially chinese overseas british database because I was given complete creative freedom in choosing the style and content.

I like the technique of illustrations on the web.

Although illustrations are good only in those projects where they are appropriate, and in general web illustrations are not the most common case. But they add warmth and always allow you to make an individual design even with the most typical site structure. And it also increases identity, brand recognition and helps develop the ecosystem of the company's IT services if you wrap the illustrations in a design system.
