How does the technology market view the role of the Sales Development Representative?

As in other areas, reducing the amount of time and effort wasted on qualifying leads by the sales team can be very beneficial for the technology sector. This is especially true for companies that already have a sales team that is sufficiently mature in terms of sales processes and conversion rates.
