When applying a layer of epoxy paint, you should start with a brush, from hard-to-reach places - corners, niches, etc. Later, the surface can be painted with a roller, evenly distributing the paint over the entire area.
It will be easier to paint the main part of the floor surface with a roller.

Average weighted consumption is about 300 ml/m². should twitter data alternated - longitudinal and transverse.
After applying the first layer, you may get a textured rough surface. Some people like it like that

The primary layer will most likely give a textured surface - slightly rough, like an "orange peel". If desired, you can leave it like that, but it is better, of course, to apply a second layer, also a day after applying the first, no more.
Applying a second coat can give a pronounced glossy effect.

After covering the surface with a finishing layer, if necessary, you can scatter decorative chips over the entire area (they are often included in the paint kit).
In principle, you can walk on a surface painted with a finishing layer after 24 hours. However, full polymerization will require a little more time - the final readiness of the coating for the planned use can be discussed only after 7 days.

Questions are often asked - can spray guns be used for such floor painting? Yes, there are videos on the Internet that show a similar process of applying paint to concrete.

However, one should not forget about the short life of epoxy paints - the slightest delay can "kill" the pneumatic spray gun. It is better not to experiment, and apply the coating with ordinary brushes and rollers. By the way, it should be taken into account that these tools will become disposable - they are subject to disposal, since it will be simply impossible to wash them well.
