What is the current attitude of insurance funds?

Post by Rina7RS »

For insurance funds, the entire market is rushing to follow the expectation of "moderately loose" monetary policy and interest rate cuts, and government bond interest rates continue to hit record lows. With the capital cost of insurance funds at 2.5%, the allocation value of the bond market may not be able to cover the fixed costs, and they have to find a new way out.

Recently, four leading insurance asset management executives expressed their latest views on issues such as how insurance funds can play the role of patient capital.

Regarding the next stage of allocation, Zhao Hui, vice president of netherlands phone number list China Life Asset Management, believes that it is necessary to continue to consolidate the "ballast stone" of fixed income investment, secondly to give full play to the role of the "critical minority" in equity investment, and thirdly, to actively seek "fillin" opportunities for the allocation of alternative investments.

Regarding the role of the “critical few” in equity investment, Zhao Hui put forward three points:

First, keep the equity position at a reasonable level; second, make diversified and strategic investments; third, grasp the rhythm of highdividend stock allocation and pay attention to swing and structural opportunities.
