The visibility mentioned is shown by new studies such as those from App Annie. A user spends 7 percent more time in the app than in the browser and it is therefore clear that a company with an app contributes significantly more to a loyal customer base than one without.

How many people in Germany can access apps?
The number of people who can access apps has loan database increased significantly in this country. According to estimates, there were already 53.54 million people in 2011. Today, the number is already over 60.7 million people, and according to a forecast by Statista, the number will rise to 68.6 million in 2023.

In 2020, 97.3 percent of people in the 14 to 19 age group already had a smartphone, and in the 20 to 29 age group, the figure was 98.1 percent. Among 30 to 39 year olds, the proportion rose to 97.8 percent.

In short: In Germany, almost everyone has a smartphone – including those in your target group. An app could therefore be a growth boost for your company.
