According to our monitoring results

Post by Rina7RS »

Influenza is the main disease causing the increase in patients with acute respiratory infections visiting medical institutions. Monitoring results show that influenza is currently in its seasonal epidemic period, with the epidemic intensity at a moderate level in most provinces. At present, the rising trend of influenza test positivity rate has slowed down. As primary and secondary schools gradually close for holidays, it is expected that the level of influenza activity may gradually decline in the middle ghana telegram data and late part of this month. Human metapneumovirus is not a new virus. In fact, it has been with humans for at least several decades. Due to the development of detection methods, there have been more and more reports on human metapneumovirus in recent years. Currently, the positive rate of human metapneumovirus detection is at a platform fluctuation, among which the positive rate in northern provinces has slowed down. We are also seeing that the test positivity rate for patients under the age of 14 is beginning to decline.

The current positive detection rate of respiratory syncytial virus in children aged 0-4 years old shows a fluctuating upward trend.

The positive rates of rhinovirus, Mycoplasma pneumoniae and adenovirus tests showed a downward trend.

The novel coronavirus and other respiratory pathogens are generally at low prevalence levels.

Overall, respiratory infectious diseases this winter and spring still showed a trend of alternating or overlapping epidemics, all caused by known pathogens, and no new infectious diseases emerged. It is expected that the overall epidemic intensity and medical pressure this year will not be higher than last year.
