You will be asked to enter a new password. Make sure it is strong and secure, with a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. Confirm your password by entering it again. Optional You can add a hint to help you remember your password. Be careful not to make the hint too obvious to others.

Follow the same initial steps as for a local account to get to Sign-in options in the Windows Settings app.
Scroll down to the Password section, expand it and click the Change button.
