I can tell you, the task of posting a photo

A every day is quite intense, especially after a while. Sometimes I had no idea what I was supposed to take a picture of. Then I would just look at the sandwich in front of me on the table, the middle of which had been eaten by my daughter, or at the reflection of the lamp in a CD case and grab my mobile phone. Better something than nothing. Yet every now and then I would suddenly find my form again. For example, I once made a self-portrait in a poetry mirror ('self textualized'), which was picked up by various language blogs. This allowed me to appeal to a new and broader audience.

What did all those reblogs and followers bring me, I hear you ask? Well, not hard euros, not directly at least. But that also had to do with the fact that I was not a perseverer in this photo diary genre. In 2010 I changed my blog into a somewhat broader japan telegram data blog about digital culture. A content that is more in line with my work as a director and online creative, so that the audience I reach is actually an interesting ally, customer or relationship.

But still, thanks to that year of taking photos, I have made many contacts with artists and creatives, some of whom I have later worked with on beautiful (paid) projects. That one photo of Wilhelminapepermunt literally led to a beautiful commercial assignment for smartphone-with-camera (a gadget that was still fairly unique in 2009).
