Mineral and structural plasters are less demanding, although they load the base more than Venetian plaster.



Structural plaster ("bark beetle") is based on quartz granules of various sizes, when applied it creates a unique appearance, somewhat reminiscent of the surface of wood eaten by insects, for which it received its second name. This type of finish is often used for exterior work, but it is also suitable for interior decoration.

After the primer dries, such a sheet resists high humidity better. Primer is part of the finish, and applying decorative plaster is no exception. After all, an attempt to apply such a coating to a dusty, unprimed surface will end in failure.

Do not neglect such "little things" as cleaning the surface from dust, the already mentioned primer, observing temperature and humidity conditions. If you approach the work responsibly, taking into account the requirements, then decorative plaster applied to drywall or a putty wall will please the eye for many years.
