16 - Use entry, exit and specific pop-ups for special pages

We've already covered conversion-optimized pages, but at this point we're going to talk specifically about pop-ups and the different types you can use.

We use entry pop-ups, meaning that as soon as a new user accesses our blog, they receive a screen with a call to join our newsletter. That is just one of the possibilities for using pop-ups.

If you don't like this strategy - or it doesn't give you the results you expect - you also have the option of creating pop-ups that will be displayed as soon as the user shows the intention to leave your page.

17 - Exit pop-ups
This format has a peculiarity. Here you can identify when the user is namibia phone data going to close the page according to the path taken by their cursor to the X of the browser, and you can take advantage of that.

The most common are pop-ups with texts, which will say something like:

"Wait, you're leaving already? How about downloading a free ebook on such a topic? CLICK HERE";
"What a pity you're leaving. Before you go, would you like to subscribe to our newsletter and receive our content first hand?"
"What? You're leaving already? I'd like to offer you this free offer first so you can brush up on your knowledge on topic X."
There are many options and everything will depend on your creativity and testing to find the best content.

Take a look at an example of an exit pop-up we found while researching this post.
