Download the Threads app (available for Android and iOS );
Open the app and click “Log in with Instagram”;
On the next screen, click “Save” so that the application stores your login information;
Fill in your bio information or click the button to import the same description from Instagram;
Define whether your profile will be public or private (no one will be able to view your profile);
Select which of your Instagram contacts you want to follow (if the person doesn't already have a Threads account, they'll be followed as soon as they create an account).
By following these steps, you'll be ready to take advantage of Threads' features and connect with other users on the platform.

Web 3.0
Information is still scarce, but on its website, Meta says that Threads is the company's first social network built to be part of the third generation of the Web.

Web 3.0 is an evolution of the internet that seeks to bring a more twitter data personalized and interactive experience to users. In this new phase, the web's main objective is to integrate data, artificial intelligence and real-time interactions, providing a smarter and more contextualized internet. Web 3.0 aims to offer an experience closer to the real world, with greater automation, personalization and connectivity between devices and people.

Web 3.0 has four essential characteristics: data decentralization, focus on privacy, greater information security, and ownership through tokens or NFTs.

In short, the idea is that Threads is an open platform where your posts are accessible through other applications. You don't need to access the application to interact with it, and you can read and post content through third-party applications and websites.

Although the application is not yet monetized, that is, it does not have ads, the idea is that, in the future, it will have ways to generate income for users, similar to what YouTube does, but giving the user greater freedom over what will be broadcast in their name.
