How to delete facebook account permanently

Post by monira444 »

Deleting and deactivating an account: what's the difference?
Facebook offers two options: deletion and deactivation. At first glance, there is no difference - the account is simply deleted and ceases to exist. But there are differences.

Delete - forever
Let's say a person is fed up with social networks and doesn't want to waste time on them anymore. Or Facebook in particular is no longer needed and only takes up memory on the phone. Then the account can be completely deleted.

This means that as soon as a person confirms their intentions, their account will be deleted. There will be no link to email or phone, and it will be impossible to restore it.

To be more precise, after complete deletion, the account can be restored within 30 days. Facebook kind of gives you time to think. But when 30 days have passed, the account can be considered forgotten.

Deactivation - for a while
Now let's imagine another person. He also wants to take a student data break from social networks, but only for a while: for example, for six months. There is an option to simply turn off notifications, but this is not a very good way. He does not want to be seen on Facebook at all, to be sent messages and invited to groups.

For this purpose, he can deactivate the account. Unlike deletion, deactivation leaves the possibility of restoring the account at any time. Let a month, six months or a year pass - the account can still be returned.

Otherwise, a deactivated account is no different from a deleted one - it also ceases to exist.
