Teleworking, the key to reconciling

Post by bitheerani319 »

Balancing work and family life remains a challenge for many Spaniards, who are sometimes forced to choose between their professional career and caring for their loved ones. In fact, around half of Spanish workers find it difficult to balance their personal and professional lives , according to the latest data from the Ipsos Loyalty Work Environment Barometer. In the case of rcs data america who have children with disabilities, this percentage increases to 75%, a figure so high that it highlights the need to find real and flexible solutions for families with dependent children.

According to the report on Disability and Family , which has just been published by the Adecco Foundation, teleworking is the key to combating problems with work-life balance. This is what they say, as well as 91% of parents who have children with special needs and who could work outside the company, who say that teleworking would greatly improve their quality of life . However, only 10% of them have the possibility of working remotely.

Despite being one of the bets of the last labour reform, the idea of working from home does not seem to take hold in companies in our country, where the culture of presenteeism still prevails , that is, the need for the physical presence of the worker at his/her post. In fact, in Spain only 6.7% of employees work remotely, according to the ILO, data that is very far from those of other EU countries, such as Sweden or Finland. They do have a culture that favours remote working, making it objective-based and prioritising trust in the worker.
