In our country, the situation is different. Although the Spanish Government has acknowledged on several occasions that it is studying a possible regulation of the right to digital disconnection once the working day has ended, as of today there is nothing concrete on the table. Meanwhile, the AXA Group has become the first company operating in Spain to include in its new collective agreement the right to digital disconnection once the working day has ended. Specifically, the document signed by the AXA Group in Spain and Comisiones Obreras establishes that “except in cases of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, AXA recognises the right of workers not to respond to professional emails or messages outside of their working hours.”
