Post by sumaiyakhatun27 »

Work.ua analyzed the salaries that employers offered to job seekers during the year, the factors influencing salary growth, and also learned about employee financial satisfaction and business plans for salary revision in 2023.

In the study, analysts processed an array of 218,000 vacancies posted on Work.ua from Q2 2022 to Q2 2023 and examined changes in salaries:

in Ukraine in general;
in the 10 largest cities of Ukraine;
in 9 industries with the largest number of vacancies on Work.ua, including: "Construction, laos rcs data architecture, interior design" (plus woodworking industry), "Hotel and restaurant business, tourism", "Marketing, advertising, PR", "Medicine and pharmaceuticals", "Services for the population and business", "Retail trade", "Agriculture", "Transport, logistics", "Finance, banking and accounting, audit".
The salaries reported in the study are divided into three categories: 1st quartile, median, and 3rd quartile. According to salary researchers, these categories may correspond to the wages of a junior specialist (1st quartile), a mid-level specialist (median), and a high-level specialist (3rd quartile).

"Marketing, advertising, PR" - how salaries in the industry have changed
The marketing industry is one of those in which salaries have changed the least over the year:

in the first quartile it increased by 7% - from 14,000 to 15,000 UAH;
the median did not change year on year and is 20,000 UAH;
for the III quartile - by 14%, from 28,000 to 32,000 UAH.
In this category, there were jumps in wages throughout the year. In the fourth quarter of 2022, salaries began to grow by all indicators, but decreased already in the first quarter of 2023. For the first and third quartiles, they increased again only in the spring of this year. And median salaries have not yet returned even to the level of the end of 2022 - 21,000 UAH.
