Ozon was launched in 1998, and at first they only sold books, audio and video cassettes. Gradually, other categories of goods began to be added, and eventually the store grew into a full-fledged marketplace. Today, it is the main competitor of Wildberries.
Legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals can sell on Ozon.
To become a supplier, you need to:
register and fill out the form;
upload documents (for legal entities, this is the TIN, OGRN or the Unified State Register of Legal Entities record sheet and the company charter; for individual entrepreneurs, this is the OGRNIP certificate, TIN and a copy of the passport);
connect electronic rcs database document management (EDM);
create product cards (it is important to take into account the platform’s requirements, they are stricter than those of Wildberries);
choose a sales scheme.
Ozon offers suppliers three options for cooperation:
sales from your own warehouse - FBS;
sales from Ozon warehouse - FBO;
sale and transportation from the seller's warehouse - RFBS.
The first option assumes that the supplier has its own base, where it organizes the process of packaging and delivery of products to customers. In the second case, the marketplace does all this, the seller only needs to deliver all the goods to the Ozon warehouse. The third option involves storing products at its own base and delivery either by the marketplace or independently (including a third-party courier service).
The RetailCRM marketplace has ready-made Ozon modules that allow you to upload orders from Ozon to the system, accept or cancel them in RetailCRM, change their statuses, print stickers in Ozon, and much more.
Lamoda
It is both a retailer and a marketplace at the same time. Lamoda sells goods on its own behalf, purchasing clothes directly from major brands - Zarina, Puma, Versace and others. But anyone can become a supplier (you must have a legal entity or be registered as an individual entrepreneur). Representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan trade on the platform.
How to start selling:
fill out an application on the website for sellers;
indicate the brand name, company type, product category and prices;
wait for approval and start working.
You can sell goods of another brand on the site only with the consent of the manufacturer. The seller must have supporting documents on hand.
You can't enter Lamoda with a couple of items, like you can with Ozon or Wildberries. The seller must have at least 50 items of original goods from different categories.
Suppliers have a personal account manager who helps with connecting to a personal account or, for example, when developing promotions to promote products. Lamoda operates according to the fulfillment scheme, that is, it performs the entire cycle of work - from receiving an order to delivering it to the buyer.
