Advances result in the creation

Post by mostakimvip06 »

This innovative technology has many advantages. First of all, it allows for the automation of processes that were previously the responsibility of people. This is a chance to save time and money, but it also brings many risks. Many of them go far into the future, but they should not be underestimated.

The beginnings of artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence
The idea of creating an intelligence that could imitate human intelligence was born in the 1950s after World War II, when a surprising fact was revealed about electronic computers, that they are not only calculating machines, but also a tool for manipulating symbols. Today, artificial intelligence is one of the most powerful human creations and with its magic spells it is reforming our lives.

If we look around, we will find chatbots on social media answering our questions without human intervention, robots performing surgeries, and many other wonders performed on a daily basis. One thing is common to all these convenient applications: they could not exist without "artificial intelligence". But the question arises: will these advances result in the creation of AI that is smarter than humans? In this article, I will try to find the answer to this most controversial question.

Who is smarter – Artificial Intelligence or humans?
Artificial Intelligence vs. Humans
First, let's look at the relationship between human and artificial intelligence. Some researchers believe that with the advancement of AI, humans will be able to design machines with intelligence similar to humans.

Many tech giants like IBM and Google are creating machines with ANN (artificial neural network) .

These machines can function like the human brain, which is why many well-known researchers and experts in artificial intelligence believe that it will be able to become smarter than humans, leading to the creation of macedonia telemarketing data the so-called "technological singularity". This singularity is seen as a point at which the developed machine would be so intelligent that it would be able to restructure itself.

At this point, machine intelligence would surpass human intelligence in magnitude.

After reaching this point, humans would no longer be the smartest species on the planet. This is why advances in artificial intelligence are considered dangerous by some brilliant minds, such as the late physicist Stephen Hawking.

He outlined his thoughts in The Washington Post, stating that "artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race."

A slightly different perspective on this issue is shared by cognitive development expert Gary Marcus. He argues that sooner or later, humans will be replaced in some way by AI-based technologies because full control over them is impossible .

However, it is not worth falling into extremely negative beliefs - all the thoughts put forward on this subject are so far only attempts to predict the future. Although AI is already involved in our everyday life, it is constantly monitored. As it develops, systems are also created to prevent possible problems resulting from its advancement. It is worth treating it as an assistant, both in life and work. At the current level, it is completely safe and does not pose even the slightest threat. Although advanced and innovative technologies can certainly count better or write grammatically correct texts, they do not have creativity, and it is this that is most important and constantly improved by people.

All artificial intelligence skills are merely attempts to replicate human reasoning, and are therefore, in a sense, copies of them.

Artificial Intelligence – an opportunity or a threat in the labor market?
There is no denying that artificial intelligence is the possibility of a computer solution to matters that were previously the responsibility of a human. Many people fear that in the future their position may be completely eliminated in favor of artificial intelligence. However, it is worth remembering that although the development of AI is inevitable, it may prove to be extremely useful and ultimately prove to many that it is a significant facilitation in work. Artificial intelligence affects various sectors, including work in a marketing agency in Wrocław , where AI is used to automate processes and analyze data.

The 53rd edition of the Labor Market Monitor report, which was prepared by the Randstad Research Institute in cooperation with the Pollster Research Institute, shows that people's attitudes towards AI at work are positive. The larger the company, the greater the chance of contact with AI-based tools - in microenterprises employing 2 to 9 people, 19% of respondents declare this, while in the largest companies employing over 250 people, this percentage is 40%.

The aforementioned studies show that it is most often encountered by people working as engineers, representatives of management staff and employees of IT, telecommunications, industry, finance and insurance. It is worth remembering, however, that this does not mean the complete elimination of positions that currently use its help in work. Artificial intelligence should be treated as an assistant that will perform calculations, help in generating ideas, or will effectively monitor processes taking place in the company.

An interesting example showing that the development of technology helps us, but is not a threat at the same time, are self-service checkouts. Despite their introduction to most stores, cashiers still work there. What's more, due to customer errors, the consequences of which are losses in goods, many companies are considering giving up such a solution. To sum up, artificial intelligence has the potential to automate many processes in the workplace, but at its current level there is no reason to worry.

Unique skills, irreplaceable by AI?
Although AI can create extraordinary images ( Midjourney is an example ) and write linguistically correct content, there are professions in which the skills are so unique that only humans can currently perform them. Although the development of AI means that it acquires new abilities, AI will not be able to replace, for example, a psychologist, psychiatrist, or educator in the near future. The basis of such professions is the human factor. Although systems will probably be developed in time that can diagnose patients, the above positions are based on more than just prescribing specific medications.

Painters can also be calm, although it is image generators that have changed our everyday life the most. It is worth remembering, however, that such creations are a combination of elements previously taken from other sources, and not creative work. The human mind and what is hidden in it remain our unique secret, which is why AI will not replace a musician, poet, or writer.
