Many e-commerce providers are starting to use chatbots. However, none of the big ones have yet decided to use one on their websites, but are instead testing them on their Facebook channels.
Some might say that buying from a chatbot without going to your website is the future, but I don't believe that. I think the chatbot is a conversion assistant, not the source. Also, people are not willing to buy some things online - clothes, shoes, watches, accessories, etc., so the chatbot can be used to quickly direct them to the nearest store using the location, and help them with the purchase on-site in a way that a website could not.
Personal note/Idea: I hope to see the chatbot experience become unified, from the website itself and Facebook all the way to when you arrive at the store. Imagine you're shopping for a car, you talk to a bot on their website to see where you can see the car, you start heading there and get directions from Google, and you let the store know when you arrive so they can serve you. PS If you sell a high-ticket item and want to try this idea out, get in touch!
I have been trying hard to find an example of an ecommerce website that uses a chatbot. I failed miserably. This means that I will be tasked with finding us a client within a month who will place a chatbot on their website.
8. B2B and SaaS chatbot examples
This is a broad one, and to be honest, it’s there for SEO reasons. The most common use case sales directors email database for chatbots in B2B is SaaS and other tech companies.
I could give you literally thousands of examples. You can go to our homepage and see ours. Other good examples often come from the people selling chatbot software themselves, such as Drift and Intercom.
What are chatbots used for?
In practical terms, this use case is anything a person can do online. For example, customer service, sales, lead generation, newsletter subscriptions, and much more.
One of my favorites
One of my favorite support chatbot examples is Medium's chatbot . While it's not the smartest, it does the job of asking you, "Have you turned it on and off again?" - and probably cuts down on a lot of clutter for support! This chatbot is powered by Ada.
