Is it worth creating a blog in 2021?

Post by bitheerani319 »

Advertising professional from Santos specializing in Aesthetics and Cosmetics. I work in Global Marketing for a kbeauty brand in Seoul. Curious, Virgo and very happy to have you here.

Spoiler alert: it's worth creating a blog in any year. If you're too lazy to read, you already have your answer and can go back to TikTok. But if you want to understand why I always recommend creating a blog as a marketing strategy, no matter which platform you primarily publish content on, then stay with me and I'll explain more below.
But, Lominha, I'm a Youtuber!

Congratulations, gorgeous. Video is an incredible sales and authority-building iran phone number list in the most diverse niches, as I learned from Camilo Coutinho . Now, a question: where do you usually share your new videos? On your Instagram? On Twitter? On LinkedIn? (Does anyone here who isn't a career coach still use LinkedIn to share something? Serious question, I swear!)

It turns out that indexing your videos on a blog can help you in several ways, I'll list a few:

You can create an archive of videos , divided by categories and tags. Your own Netflix!
You can give your SEO (search engine optimization) a boost ;
You can create a page with your media kit to send to advertisers with your own professional address: meucanal.com.br/midiakit;
You can gather all your most important social networks and links on your blog's home page;
You can write things down – and writing things down is super useful. Like important announcements, event announcements, or even transcribing your video as a post for accessibility .
If these 5 reasons above haven't convinced you to create a blog, keep reading because I'm full of convincing arguments below.

As a good old blogger that I am, I want to see everyone blogging again like it's 2010 (when blogging wasn't cringe yet ).

A blog can become your portfolio and I believe that this is reason enough to create yours. In addition to presenting your content in a professional format (think of a URL like yourname.com or yourproject.com ), it is a way to gather everything you develop and publish in one place.

In addition to a portfolio, a blog has many other potential functions for your content, business or brand. Below I explain in more detail:
