Research agency Creativo has recently collected statistics on the use of social media and the popularity of list to data 7 platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus, YouTube and Instagram. They have processed the results in the infographic below. The visualization shows that we share 3,600 photos on Instagram every minute of the day, publish 100,000 tweets and upload 48 hours of videos on YouTube.
Popularity
Facebook remains the most popular social network at the moment. In second place is Twitter, followed by Google Plus and LinkedIn. When we look at the popularity among women and men, the visual pinboard Pinterest is the most popular among women (over three quarters!).
Men log in to Google Plus more often than women. Furthermore, the figures show that we use social media more often and everywhere. As much as 91 percent of mobile internet traffic is spent on activities on social media. It shows once again that we are far from done with these media.
