New impetus for Facebook is urgently needed

A static Graph Search is Facebook’s worst nightmare. If people don’t continually feed Facebook with new list to data friends, posts, photos, and likes, the value of the platform will diminish over time. Making new connections is vital, connections are Facebook’s lifeblood.
With recent numbers showing a decline in user numbers, it is becoming increasingly important for Facebook to keep the engagement of its current users high. According to Zuckerberg, Graph Search meets a fundamental human need:
“Exploring your community is a core human need, and this is the first big step we're taking in that direction.”
