The infographic below from research agency Intuit shows how organizations can achieve online success list to data with social media in 12 steps. The visualization was developed based on research among approximately 450 social media marketers and shows how organizations can conduct research, ensure valuable relationships and careful implementation and, last but not least, evaluate the approach.
The first phase focuses on research . In this step, the organization looks at the current situation and asks itself which platforms they are on, how they use them, what their goals are and what is currently being achieved in the area of social media. Once the current situation has been properly mapped out, the second step follows: building relationships. It is important that organizations do not transmit on social networks, but listen to their followers and communicate with them.
The third step is about integration . Platforms can be managed through applications such as Hootsuite or Tweetdeck , with handy management and monitoring options. But the organization also pays attention to integration in the organization in this phase, both in terms of (marketing) activities and among employees.
