Last week I was a guest at Yammer On Tour (YOT), the roadshow of the well-known enterprise social media tool that visited Amsterdam for the second time. Normally I avoid such meetings, where the risk of excessive PR is quite high. In this case I made an exception: I have been using Yammer myself for several years with great pleasure and see it as a good way to contain the flow of e-mails within and outside the organization.
Original casesparticularly concerns me in the back of my mind: is Yammer already widely used within small organizations and temporary partnerships? In my opinion, this is not the case, while it has absolute added value.

Much more interesting are the concrete cases that I heard at YOT. Because the question: “But what can you really do with it?” is still often asked. I was able to record 5 very nice real-life cases from the mouths of the various speakers.
