I discovered a handy Twitter trick that can help you get more interaction with your target audience. Simply sending out some information on Twitter is not very effective – you achieve more if you also listen and help a lot. To increase interaction with your target audience, you can search specifically for problems that apply to your niche. In this screen cast I give you some tips to search very specifically for the tweets of your target audience!
Let’s say you’re a Photoshop expert. You know Photoshop inside and out and could really help other people –list to data but you don’t know who’s really looking for help. With this Twitter trick, you can target people in your niche who need help right now.
On your Twitter profile, go to Twitter search in the top right corner and type in “I need help” (in quotes) and your keyword, in this case Photoshop (without quotation marks). In the search results you will see all kinds of tweets from people who currently need help with a Photoshop project. Several results even appear to be paid assignments.
Twitter trick in Dutch
Perhaps your target audience is not international. You can also easily apply this Twitter trick in Dutch. In Dutch, for example, you could search for 'help' and 'photoshop.' In the video, you can see that the top tweet is immediately a Dutch person who genuinely needs help with a Photoshop project.
