In the context of Twitter, participation is fast and dynamic, information is plentiful and varied and, on certain occasions, it deserves to be saved to be enjoyed later. When, in addition to immediacy, originality takes over and virality takes over the whole, then all that remains is to enjoy it and take it as inspiration. Like these two stories that I present to you today:
Historias Renfe: the twitt-series by Francesc Grau . “It all fantuan data started one fine day, on one of my daily train journeys..” Grau says in his post, about the birth of #historias_renfe . Details of travel, of everyday life, told with simplicity and humour and launched into the twittersphere. They had an impact, generated dialogue, were enriched and multiplied outside their original environment.
Historias_Renfe: the tweet-series
#frasesdemarrones : On Monday 22-03, one day after the official start of spring and feeling hungry around 13:30, I checked my timeline (or wall on Twitter) and came across a tag (or hashtag ) that was all the rage: #frasesdemarrones . Through @mausant and then through others who joined in on the therapeutic act, I saw how many Twitter users were getting into the game. There was even a news story about it!
The weight that the phenomenon quickly gained made me look for tools to measure impact and trends, of which I found only a few that presented partial information: the well-known Twitter Search that on Tuesday 23-03, at 12:15 pm showed 1,500 tweets containing the tag #frasesdemarrones, Tweetreach that reports on how many people a certain Twitter account, word or hashtag has impacted, among others. On Monday 22-03, at the height of #frasesdemarrones, it was indicated that this hashtag had impacted more than 100 thousand people. There is also a user on Twitter , who indicates that #frasesdemarrones was one of the most tweeted topics ( top trending hashtag ). (I asked him which application he uses, since Twitter does not yet publish trends for Spain).
