Google will finally pay press publishers – Google will pay for content from certain media in Germany, Australia and Brazil . The American giant is currently in discussions with press publishers in six other countries, including France – where the announcement of these “deals” has not necessarily been received favorably . Some press publishers fear that Google will sign individual agreements with publishers in order to no longer have to apply the European directive on neighboring rights .
