The disclaimer cannot protect you from claimed liability from third parties. However, it is possible to hold visitors who leave a comment responsible for their statements in the disclaimer. Claims that you receive as a site owner can be recovered from the visitor.

Does this fit the web in 2011?
If your site functions solely as a platform for visitors to respond, and you do not send the type of responses you want to receive, then you are in principle not liable for the responses posted. Does that fit in with the current zeitgeist? As far as I'm concerned, yes.

In an open and fast medium, which the internet is par excellence, it should be possible for everyone egypt phone number list to give their opinion on any subject (the well-known freedom of speech). In order to allow people to express their opinion, a platform is needed. This could be a newspaper for a letter to the editor, a birthday with friends and of course also a website where visitors can respond. It is then only logical that a website owner is not responsible for the content of visitors, because otherwise, for fear of claims in the event of unwelcome responses, hardly any responses would be accepted. And precisely that, being able to respond in all openness, is what it is all about in a free country.
