Include author data in schema markup

Post by Rina7RS »

Often, Google can determine who the author and publisher of a given article are, but the best thing to do is to help them connect the dots. Some tips:

For specific authors, make sure the author is clearly printed on the page.
Link your authors to an author profile page which in turn links to the same author’s social media profiles and other articles
Include a "publisher" tag in your article schema or other cayman islands mobile database type of schema
Identify your publisher and contact information on your About Us and Contact pages
Content does not trigger Google SafeSearch filters
Most of the time, the system works well.

Sometimes Google may flag a site as containing explicit content when it doesn't exist. This sometimes happens when Google is confused about your content.

If you have any concerns about whether your site might be triggering Google's SafeSearch, it's best to do a manual check:

Turn on SafeSearch in your browser
Check website: Search your website homepage and some specific directories
Turn off SafeSearch and repeat the search
If the number of results is significantly different, your site may be filtered by SafeSearch
If your site does not contain adult or sensitive content, and you believe SafeSearch is filtering your content in error, you can report the issue to Google .
